Footage Audio Review

Inside Location

Overall the audio from this clip is near enough perfect, it is very clear and at a good level. However, you can hear a slight hum from the computer nearby and the florescent lighting.

Outside Location

The audio in this clip is not so good, you can clearly hear the hum from a nearby building and also you can here the wind. However you can make out the dialogue well.

Inside Busy Location

Overall the audio from this clip is near enough perfect, it is very clear and at a good level. However, there is a lot of clear background audio and distracts you from the main dialogue.

Locations and Equipment List

My group consists of Me, Harry, Edd and Jack, we have decided on three locations to film at: The Balcony Cafe as a busy area, an empty classroom as a quite area and the car park as an outside location.

We will need: A camera, Tripod, Headphones and a Sound Kit.

Preparing to Shoot on Location

1. Why do you think it is important to make a plan before you go and shoot film or audio on location?

It is very important to plan as planning this is because planning prepares you for the production so all goes well without any errors.

2. What might happen if you do not plan?

If you do not plan, during your production you may come across some problems and not be prepared for them.

3. Use youtube to find a clip of a newsreader reporting from a location that contains bad background noise.

If i were to shoot this video i would of shot it indoors because there would of been no way outside you would of got sound with good quality.
